Two doctors ship with the app. Whoever you set as partner lives on Home. Why they are there, and what the work is really for, is in the stories unlocked by completing tasks in the game.
Focus preference
A scientist first. He starts clinical and a little detached, like you are another file on the desk. That does not last. He warms up fast, and he is obvious about it.
He likes you. He says so. He rewards easy. Focus tasks sit under his name. Periwinkle HUD if he is the one in the room.
Home, check-ins, and partner bonuses follow him if he is your selected partner.
Water preference
Reserved. Walls up. He acts like he would rather you left, and like he is a little disgusted you showed up at all. That is the act. He notices everything.
Bratty at first. Harder to impress. He only really gives it up if you keep showing up and doing the work. Water tasks. Magenta HUD if the house is his.
